Reverend Adam Charville Biography
Rev. Adam Charville is the senior minister at Four Oaks United Methodist Church. Pastor Adam answered his call to ministry as a second career. He first knew this calling in his early teenage years. However, a summer job in high school at a golf course led him to major in Turfgrass Management at NC State University and career as a golf course superintendent. Several years later, the call to ministry was rejuvenated and Adam finally committed himself to it. He graduated from Duke Divinity School in 2017 and was appointed by the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church to serve as an associate pastor at Hayes Barton UMC in Raleigh. In July 2021, Adam was appointed to Four Oaks UMC.
Pastor Adam was married his wife Jill in 2011 and knows that along with being a spouse, friend, and mother, she is his partner in ministry. They have two young children and live in Four Oaks. In his spare time, Adam cherishes being with his family and any outdoor activity including caring for his lawn, camping, biking, and canoeing. In his ministry, he is passionate about sharing the love and forgiveness given to us in Jesus Christ, especially with people that feel unworthy of receiving it. Pastor Adam’s guiding verse of Scripture is Micah 6:8.
